Christmas is right around the corner, sometimes a gift MADE WITH LOVE is one of the best gifts of all: Here are some ideas I am doing and adding my own little twist as well.

TUB OF RUB

I bought Mason Jars from walmart, 5.00 for 4 8oz jars. Found some recepies for some good tasting rubs, bought the ingredients and made them. Put the name of the rub on the lid and the date I made it. REMEMBER RUBS/SEASONINGS DO EXPIRE

Grilling is technically out of season so now is the time to be creative with it because things are cheap. My girlfriends husband just bought a grill and for a gift im thinking about attempting something like this: 

Branding or carving the last name or Initials into the bottom of the wooden handles.

A new twist to an old coat!

Trophies just collecting dust?!?! Have them collect alot more by turning them into a holder for bags/coats/sports bags...anything.

Who is Who?

We have 13 grandchildren and great-grandchildren combined, so for christmas I made the grandparents on both sides wreaths, I bought wooden ornaments, colored them in and wrote the kids names on them, the one for this grandmother I did not put pictures on, for my other grandmother I did put pictures on the ornaments, I'll show you those when I get a picture.

Harpine-Priest Wedding

Here are some ideas for my wedding coming in September 2012. Since I am a DIY(Do it yourself) kind of person I am going to attempt to see what I can have my bridesmaids help me with for DIY. WISH US LUCK
Here are some ideas:

The Thumb Print Tree. I am all about family, so we decided that a Family Tree idea would be great instead of a guest book. You ink your thumb and dot it on branch, sign your name or do something else.

My aunt is making me a brooch boquet, I have been collecting them and shipping them off to her. My bridesmaid dresses I want black with a brooch on the side and I want to make my own pillow with a brooch attached to it as well. Our colors are Green/Black/Creme, Green like a granny smith apple, and creme(off white) Because my dress is a creme/off white color.

The Brooch Boquet, I wont nearly have as many brooches as this one does but between the flowers and brooches it will look fantastic. My aunt is doing this for me and I cant wait to see the finished product.

Photo Shoot

Doing what I love best and doing it with the best. Went to the railroad tracks with my girlfriend and her daughter, mine slipped in a photo or two.

Mrs. and Mrs.

This is my cork wreath. My girlfriend is getting married and it is a wine themed wedding for fall, She has corks are her placecard holders and wine bottles for her center pieces. These have been saved up over time and I thought that this would be something special for the two of them to have for their home.

2 1/2 hours later, strickly corks and a hot glue gun. I used a bowl for the circle. I lined the corks up around the bowl and hot glued them together. Went to michaels and purchased the grapes the cranberry and super glued them on as well.

A little gift from the hear <3

This is also another gift for her and her husband. An easy kit from Michaels and a two free glasses from a moving friend made an quick, easy, thoughtful wedding gift.
